Fully Funded Scholarships for Indian Students in Italy Masters/PhD/Research Projects 2024-2025

Ceigoz Education is proud to announce the availability of fully funded scholarships for Indian students to pursue their higher education in Italy. These scholarships are awarded by the Italian Government, aimed at fostering international cooperation in cultural, scientific, and technological fields.

Scholarship Opportunities

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) offers grants for the academic year 2024-2025 in the following categories:

1. Master’s Degree (Laurea Magistrale 2° ciclo): Scholarships are awarded for a period of 9 months. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and meet the admission requirements of the chosen Italian university.
2. Courses of Higher Education in Arts, Music, and Dance (AFAM): Scholarships are awarded for a period of 9 months. Applicants must meet the entry requirements of the respective AFAM institute.
3. PhD Programs: Scholarships are awarded for a period of 9 months. Applicants must provide an admission letter from the relevant Italian university.
4. Research Projects under Academic Supervision: Scholarships are awarded for a period of 9 months. Applicants must submit a research project and provide an acceptance letter from the host university or research institution.
5. Italian Language and Culture Advanced Courses: Scholarships are awarded for a period of 3 months. Applicants must have basic proficiency in Italian (minimum A2 level).

Eligibility Criteria

• Academic Qualifications: Applicants must hold the necessary academic qualifications required for enrollment in Italian universities or institutions.
• Age Requirements: Applicants for Master's and AFAM programs should be under 28 years old, for PhD programs under 30, and for research projects under 40.
• Language Proficiency: For Italian-taught courses, a minimum B2 level in Italian is required. For English-taught courses, a minimum B2 level in English is required. No language proof is required for PhD and research projects.

Benefits

• Tuition Fees: Some universities may exempt grantees from enrollment and tuition fees. Regional fees might still apply.
• Health and Medical Insurance: Grantees will be covered by a collective health insurance policy during the grant period.
• Grant Amount: Master's, AFAM, and PhD program grantees will receive a total of €9,000, paid in three installments. Italian language and culture course grantees will receive €3,000 in a single installment.

Application Process

1. Visit the Study in Italy Portal: Register and submit your application online at studyinitaly.esteri.it.
2. Required Documents: Submit a valid passport or identity document and meet all specified requirements by June 14th, 2024.
3. Selection and Awarding: Applications will be evaluated by a committee, and grants will be awarded based on a comparative assessment.
